This will be my third time standing in Central Hove, my birth ward. Brighton born and bred, I have followed local politics since I was a teenager.
Over the years I have witnessed the main Parties preside over the demise of this once proud Ward doing little to benefit local residents because they’d rather waste council time debating national issues and prioritising projects. Meanwhile our seafront has suffered near-dereliction, the ever-present threat to our beloved Hove Carnegie Library remains and Hove Town Hall offices are still closed to the public.
It’s time to take national party politics out of the Town Hall and rejuvenate our city! My ward priorities are:

- Re-open the seafront toilets asap
- Scrap the unnecessary Kingsway cycle lane and extension plans
- Refurbish the King Alfred including re-opening the bowling alley beneath and keep as a public asset.
